Over spring break Magnolia hosted the annual “Ball N in the Break” tournament and placed third.

Taylor, Genoa Central, Warren, Marion, Jacksonville, El Dorado, Lakeside, and Parker’s Chapel all traveled to participate in the games.

The Panthers started with a game against Taylor, coming out on top 15-5, but the Panthers then lose 9-4 in the next game against Marion (near West Memphis), who went on to win the tournament.

This loss set the Panthers to play against Lakeside and win the third-place title with a score of 6-5.

Senior, Peyton Carter, said “It was not our best game, but we got to beat Lakeside, and that is an achievement for all of us personally.”
