Seven students from the MHS Pride Team have been named to the Arkansas eXtreme State Team. They tried out in El Dorado Nov. 10. Tyra Freeman, Nautika Johnson, Joseph Goza, and Shuntia Hunter made the dance company. Kobe Green, Mykedrieona Greene, and Kennedy Byers make the acting company. Through dance, acting, and singing, eXtreme promotes drug and alcohol abuse awareness, mental health awareness, and overall general wellness. All the MHS students who tried out were returning members of the Arkansas State Team. They will participate in a conference Feb. 18 in Hot Springs.
