The Panthers travel to Hot Springs to battle the Rams Sept. 28. After the 7-41 rainy loss against Arkansas High, the Panthers now hold a record of 3-1. During that game against Texarkana, which got rescheduled to Saturday afternoon because of lightning, #11 Kadyn Roach went down from a rough tackle and never got back in the game.

He said he sustained a torn labrum injury to his shoulder. When asked about his injury, Roach said, “I hit the ground very hard on my shoulder. I had already dislocated it two times before this injury, but I will definitely be playing again.” Roach said it’s possible he will play in the Lakeside game.

Since Lakeside’s record is only 1-3, the Panthers believe that they will be able to defeat them. Amir Cooper said, “I feel like Lakeside is a very beatable team and that this Friday could be an easy win for us.”

Joey Lewis said, “Texarkana was a good team, and we didn’t want the game to end the way it did.”

Lewis added, “We want to prove ourselves, and that’s what we plan to do against Lakeside.”

Kickoff is 7 p.m.
