The Panthers satisfied a home crowd at their first football game of the season Aug. 24. Many MHS students and community members showed up to support and cheer on the Panthers. The final score was 27-16.

After a long summer of practicing, the team is very determined to succeed this year. Senior Garrett Clark said, “We had some mistakes, but that’s expected in the first week. We ended up making plays when we needed them most.”

He added, “We all came together to make it work and got the win. We’ll continue to do the best we can and have a much better season this year than last.”
