In honor of Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 27 was costume day on the MHS campus.  Many students and even teachers dressed up in a variety of exuberant costumes. There were zombies, cows, and even nuns. Some friends and couples had costumes that complimented each other, like Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the Dr. Seuss books. There were super heroes and movie characters, too. Mrs. Hurley was Poison Ivy from the movies, and Mrs. Hamilton was a deer trophy. Bianca Castillo dressed as a skeleton: “I loved having the privilege of getting to dress up and be quirky for a day.”
