The MHS volleyball team played in a tournament Sept. 16 in Sheridan. The team started off the morning at 9:30 with their pool plays, which determine what seed a tea, will be in once the tournament begins. The Lady Panthers won two out of the three pool games. These wins allowed them to play the Malvern volleyball team in the first round. The Lady Panthers took home a win against Malvern; however, senior team member Jacii Powell said, in the second round the Lady Panthers “sadly lost to Lakeside by only one point.”
