Several MHS students recently participated in the play The Phony Physician at Magnolia Arts on the square. Sevin Kacsir, Grant Baker, Eli Wootton, Rylee Creed, Hannah Sullivan, and Carwin Edwards all had major parts in the performance that ran Sept. 6-7.  Asked about her favorite part, Creed said, “I really liked the chemistry that all the actors in the play had. Eli and Carwin worked well together. Grant was a great scene partner, and Hannah was, too.” She added, “The leads worked fantastically together, and the whole cast was great to work with.” The coffee-house comedy, as it was labeled, was directed by Janet Rider-Babbitt, director of Magnolia Arts, an organization dedicated to bringing the arts to Magnolia.
